Know your audience - or your dream audience
Ideally, you should already have some kind of research on your audience. Who are you aiming to reach, who already follows you, and who is your ideal consumer? You want to get a profile together of who that might be: age range, gender, likes, dislikes, hobbies etc.
Your customers should have an interest in the outdoors and an active lifestyle, so you already have a lot of information about the sort of person you want to target. Instagram and Facebook have plenty of info on the demographics of your reach and followers, which is a great starting point.
Build a social media presence in the right places

Maybe you could write a blog post about it that can be shared to your Instagram stories, LinkedIn and Facebook? Could it be made into a long-form video with a voiceover for YouTube? Multi-platform social media for your business doesn’t have to be time-consuming – it’s about working smart and being efficient. Videos
Short-form videos such as stories, Reels and TikToks are becoming more and more popular, showing no signs of slowing down as we continue into 2023.
